About MMU

Multimedia University (MMU) — private for-profit university. It is located in Kuala Selangor, Malaysia. The higher education institution is considered one of the youngest in the country, as it was founded in 1996. As an active member of Association of Southeast Asian Institutions of Higher Learning (ASAIHL), MMU is participating in developing the academic environment.

It is one of the best institutions in the world. In QS World University Rankings 2024, it is among top-1000. Times Higher Education World University Ranking (THE), places the university in 1201 position in the world.

Bachelor degree at MMU

It is not possible to enter an undergraduate program at MMU after the 11th grade. In Malaysia, school education lasts longer than 11 years, so applicants need to complete one of the preparatory programs (A-Levels, IB, Foundation, etc.), or study for a year at a university in their home country.
