University Malaysia Terengganu (UMT) — public non-profit institution. It is located in Kuala Terengganu, Malaysia. The higher education institution is among the youngest in the country. As a member of Maritime of Institute Malaysia (MIMA), South East Asian Fisheries Development Centre (SEAFDEC), UMT is actively working on developing the academic environment.

UMT tuition fees

The academic calendar at UMT is divided into two semesters, as in many other universities in Malaysia. For convenience, tuition fees are calculated per year. Tuition fees here are different for locals and foreigners. For locals, it starts from 209 USD, and for foreigners — a minimum of 2,500 USD. Thanks to financial support programs, students have the opportunity to fully or partially cover the cost of education. Bachelor degree at UMT

School education in Malaysia lasts longer than 11 grades. Therefore, in order to enter an undergraduate program at UMT, applicants must complete 1 year of university in their home country or take one of the preparatory programs (A-Levels, IB, Foundation, etc.).
