About UMT
University Malaysia Terengganu (UMT) — public non-profit institution. It is located in Kuala Terengganu, Malaysia. The higher education institution is among the youngest in the country. As a member of Maritime of Institute Malaysia (MIMA), South East Asian Fisheries Development Centre (SEAFDEC), UMT is actively working on developing the academic environment.

School education in Malaysia lasts longer than 11 grades. Therefore, in order to enter an undergraduate program at UMT, applicants must complete 1 year of university in their home country or take one of the preparatory programs (A-Levels, Foundation, etc.).
