UMT does research in different fields of study. You can find them on the official site.

The academic calendar at UMT is divided into two semesters, as in many other universities in Malaysia. For convenience, tuition fees are calculated per year. Tuition fees here are different for locals and foreigners. For locals, it starts from 227 USD, and for foreigners — a minimum of 2,500 USD. Thanks to financial support programs, students have the opportunity to fully or partially cover the cost of education. Check the university website for up-to-date information on tuition fees and available scholarships.
Also, be prepared for additional expenses: accommodation, transportation, study materials, meals and personal expenses.
School education in Malaysia lasts longer than 11 grades. Therefore, in order to enter an undergraduate program at UMT, applicants must complete 1 year of university in their home country or take one of the preparatory programs (A-Levels, Foundation, etc.).

The campus of UMT is suburban. Students live in a close-knit community and enjoy the benefits of the natural environment around them. However, they also have access to urban entertainment such as shopping malls, restaurants and cinemas. The school has a library where students can do their homework or just relax. Not only locals study at UMT, but also students from other countries. The variety of cultures represented broadens the horizons of students and fills student life with all sorts of activities, the purpose of which is cultural exchange.
