At BI, the academic calendar is divided into two semesters. However, tuition fees are calculated per year. For local citizens, tuition fees at BI start from 8,915 USD. International students pay a minimum of 9,037 USD per year. Thanks to scholarships and financial aid, university students have the opportunity to fully or partially cover the cost of education. Check the university website for up-to-date information on prices and available scholarships.
It is necessary to pay attention to other costs: accommodation, transportation, study materials, food, and personal expenses.

11 years of school is not enough to get into BI. Since students study longer in Norway, you must first eliminate the academic difference — study for a year at a university in your home country, or take one of the preparatory programs (A-Levels, Foundation, etc.). Before submitting documents to the university, applicants take an English language exam. The university accepts the results of IELTS, PTE or TOEFL. The minimum IELTS score is 5. The TOEFL score is not lower than 61.
The admission committee of the university takes into account the previous academic performance of the student. It is impossible to enter BI for a master's program without confirming knowledge of the English language. You can do this by passing IELTS, PTE or TOEFL. The minimum TOEFL score for admission is 90. IELTS — 6.5 or higher.
If you decide to pursue a career in science and enroll in a doctoral program, you must pass the language exam — IELTS or TOEFL. For enrollment, you need to pass IELTS with 6.5 points. The minimum score for TOEFL is 90.
The campus of BI is located in Oslo. The urban campus is suitable for those students who, firstly, are used to independence, and secondly, cannot imagine their life without the hustle and bustle of a big metropolis.
University students have access to the library. It contains a collection of scientific papers, textbooks and fiction. The infrastructure of the university includes various opportunities for playing sports: from different spaces to clubs. Student life at BI is filled with intercultural activities, as not only local students study here, but also students from abroad. The exchange of knowledge and experience, networking and new acquaintances — all this is an integral part of studenthood.
