University of Bergen (UiB) is situated on the Western Coast of Norway. Bergen is a 260,000 people city; UiB having 13,000 students, approx 1,400 international students and 3,000 staff. UiB is partly situated in downtown Bergen on "the university hill", and partly 4 km outside. UiB has six faculties, with strong fields in marine science, climate research and social sciences.
