Örebro University (ORU) — public non-profit university. It is located in Orebro, Sweden. The higher education institution was founded not so long ago — in 1977. As an active member of European University Association (EUA), ORU is participating in developing the academic environment.
The educational institution is in the top-500 of Times Higher Education World University Ranking.
ORU does research in different fields of study and offers master programs.

The academic calendar at ORU is divided into two semesters. For convenience, tuition fees are calculated per year. One year of studying at ORU will cost local citizens a minimum of 101 USD. For foreigners, the tuition fee is different — from 7,010 USD per year. On the official website of the university, you will find all the relevant information about tuition fees and scholarships.
Also, be prepared for additional expenses: accommodation, transportation, study materials, meals and personal expenses.

It is impossible to enter ORU for a master's program without confirming knowledge of the English language. You can do this by passing IELTS or TOEFL. The minimum IELTS score for admission is 6.5. TOEFL — 90 or higher.
The campus of the educational institution is located in Orebro. This opens up all the delights of life in a big city for students: a rich infrastructure, a large selection of entertainment, convenient transport, as well as more opportunities for internships or part-time jobs. However, for some students, such an abundance of opportunities can be distracting. The university has a library where students can do their homework, write scientific papers or just read interesting books. Not only locals study at ORU, but also students from other countries. The variety of cultures represented broadens the horizons of students and fills student life with all sorts of activities, the purpose of which is cultural exchange.

After graduation from the university, students can stay in the country for 1 year. To do this, you need to extend your student visa or apply for a job seeker visa. Look for more immigration options in our article.
