You cannot enter university in Italy after the 11th grade, as school education here lasts longer. Applicants need to eliminate the academic difference. There are two ways to do this: either study for a year at a university in your home country, or complete one of the preparatory programs (A-Levels, IB, Foundation, etc.). Before submitting documents to the university, applicants take an English language exam. The university accepts the results of IELTS, PTE or TOEFL. Applicants will need a subject exam — ACT or SAT.
Master's degree at UCSC
To confirm your level of English, you must pass IELTS or TOEFL. There is an opportunity to study at UCSC via online master's programs.
