Bachelor degree at AUT
In New Zealand, school education lasts longer than 11 years, so it is not possible to enroll in a bachelor's program immediately after school. First, you need to eliminate the academic difference with the help of one of the preparatory programs (A-Levels, IB, Foundation, etc.). The second option is to study for a year at a university in your native country. Students are accepted to bachelor's programs at AUT based on the results of entrance exams. Before submitting documents to the university, applicants take an English language exam. The university accepts the results of IELTS, PTE or TOEFL. The minimum IELTS score is 6. The TOEFL score is not lower than 80. A subject exam is required. The university relies on the A-Level results. Additionally, upon admission, an International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma can be accepted.
Master's degree at AUT
The academic performance of a student in an undergraduate program plays an important role in the selection of candidates. To confirm your level of English, you must pass IELTS, PTE or TOEFL. The minimum TOEFL score for admission is 80. IELTS — 6 or higher. There is an opportunity to study at AUT via online master's programs.
AUT campus
The city campus of AUT provides students with countless opportunities for work and recreation — from sitting in a coffee shop with a laptop to internships at large companies. Auckland has a well developed entertainment infrastructure, but the rhythm of the big city can be distracting for some students. University students have access to the library. It contains a collection of scientific papers, textbooks and fiction. AUT regularly invites foreign students to participate in exchange programs. For locals, this is a unique opportunity to get in touch with the cultures of other countries, meet representatives of different nationalities and make friends around the world.

What to do after graduation
After graduation, you can stay in New Zealand for a period of 1 to 3 years. To do this, the graduate draws up a special visa, which allows one to work even without an official offer from an employer. Graduates of AUT find jobs without difficulty. One of the reasons is the good reputation of the university among employers, according to the results of the QS ranking.
