You cannot enter university in New Zealand after the 11th grade, as school education here lasts longer. Applicants need to eliminate the academic difference. There are two ways to do this: either study for a year at a university in your home country, or complete one of the preparatory programs (A-Levels, IB, Foundation, etc.). Students are accepted to bachelor's programs at Victoria University of Wellington based on the results of entrance exams. Before applying, you need to pass the IELTS, PTE or TOEFL exam. The minimum TOEFL score is 80. The IELTS score is not lower than 6. A subject exam is required. The university relies on the SAT results.
