NMBU tuition fees

At NMBU, the academic calendar is divided into two semesters. However, tuition fees are calculated per year. In Norway, education at all public universities is free. Therefore, to study at NMBU, regardless of the chosen program, students pay only semester fees. Thanks to financial support programs, students have the opportunity to fully or partially cover the cost of education. On the official website of the university, you can find all the up-to-date information on tuition fees and available scholarships.

In addition to the cost of education, it is necessary to pay attention to additional costs: accommodation, transportation, study materials, meals and personal expenses.

Bachelor degree at NMBU

You cannot enter university in Norway after the 11th grade, as school education here lasts longer. Applicants need to eliminate the academic difference. There are two ways to do this: either study for a year at a university in your home country, or complete one of the preparatory programs (A-Levels, IB, Foundation, etc.).

NMBU campus

The campus of the educational institution is located in the countryside, so it is especially suitable for nature lovers. Since it is located away from the city, students hold all activities on campus and thus create a close-knit community. The advantages of this location include access to various types of outdoor recreation and fewer distractions from study than in a city. University students have access to the library. It contains a collection of scientific papers, textbooks and fiction. Foreigners who come to NMBU through exchange programs study and live with local students. Thus, the university promotes intercultural exchange and the establishment of interethnic relations.
