University of Beira Interior (UBI) — public non-profit university. It is located in Covilha, Portugal. The higher education institution was founded not so long ago — in 1979. As a member of European University Association (EUA), Conselho de Reitores das Universidades Portuguesas, UBI is actively working on developing the academic environment.

UBI campus
UBI has an urban campus, which provides students with many options for study and recreation. The abundance of museums, theaters and cinemas creates opportunities for the cultural development of young people. In the city, there are also large companies that offer internships. The educational institution has its own library. Here, students do their homework or just have a good time reading an interesting book. Thanks to international exchange programs at UBI, students can communicate with representatives of different countries and nationalities and thus expand their own horizons.
