About IPV
Polytechnic Institute of Viseu (IPV) — public non-profit institution. It is located in Viseu, Portugal. The higher education institution was founded not so long ago — in 1979. IPV is working closely with European Association of International Education (EAIE), Eurashe (European Association of Institutions in Higher Education), Crossborder University League of Castela and Leão and the Central Region of Portugal, AULP (Association of Portuguese Speaking Universities), Innovawood (European Network for Wood Industry).

The city campus of IPV provides students with countless opportunities for work and recreation — from sitting in a coffee shop with a laptop to internships at large companies. Viseu has a well developed entertainment infrastructure, but the rhythm of the big city can be distracting for some students. The university has a library, in the collection of which you will find not only textbooks and scientific works, but also works of the classics, modern literature and much more.
