About IPC
Polytechnic Institute of Coimbra (IPC) — public non-profit institution. It is located in Coimbra, Portugal. The higher education institution was founded not so long ago — in 1979. IPC is working together with Conselho Coordenador dos Institutos Superiores Politécnicos (CCISP), Pólo Universitário Transfronteiriço de Castilla y Leon e da Região Centro de Portugal, PRIME (Professional Inter-University Management for Educational Network), European University Association (EUA), Associação de Universidades de Língua Portuguesa (AULP), Associação Politécnica, Exploratório Infante D. Henrique, Associação Portuguesa de Gestão e Engenharia Industrial (APGEI), Associação Tecnopólo de Coimbra, Conselho Empresarial do Centro, Instituto Pedro Nunes (IPN).

IPC campus
The city campus of IPC provides students with countless opportunities for work and recreation — from sitting in a coffee shop with a laptop to internships at large companies. Coimbra has a well developed entertainment infrastructure, but the rhythm of the big city can be distracting for some students.
