Atlantic University (UNA) — private non-profit university. It is located in Barcarena, Portugal. The higher education institution was founded not so long ago — in 1996 — which is why it is considered one of the youngest in the country.
UNA conducts scientific activity in several areas. More information can be found on the official site.

As in many other universities in the country, the academic calendar at UNA is divided into two semesters. But for convenience, tuition fees are calculated per year. One year of studying at UNA will cost local citizens a minimum of 5,650 USD. For foreigners, the tuition fee is different — from 5,000 USD per year. On the official website of the university, you can find all the up-to-date information on tuition fees and available scholarships.
When choosing an educational institution, it is necessary to take into account additional costs: accommodation, transportation, educational materials, meals and personal expenses.
At UNA, learning takes place away from the city in the countryside. This allows students to be less distracted by the noise and temptations of the big city. If you enjoy spending time outdoors, you will love studying here. The educational institution has its own library. Here, students do their homework or just have a good time reading an interesting book. The exchange of intercultural experience occupies a special place in training at UNA. The educational institution regularly invites foreign students to participate in exchange programs and organizes various joint events.

After graduation, students are allowed to stay in Portugal for a year. During this time, graduates can find a job and change their student visa to a work one. We talk about other options for immigration in our article.
