As in many other universities in the country, the academic calendar at USyd is divided into two semesters. But for convenience, tuition fees are calculated per year. Tuition fees here are different for locals and foreigners. For locals, it starts from 5,710 USD, and for foreigners — a minimum of 25,055 USD. With the help of scholarships and financial support programs, students can partially or fully cover the cost of education. For up-to-date information on scholarships and the cost of education for each program, check the official website of the educational institution.
Also, consider other expenses: accommodation, transportation, study materials, meals, and personal expenses.

11 years of school is not enough to get into USyd. Since students study longer in Australia, you must first eliminate the academic difference — study for a year at a university in your home country, or take one of the preparatory programs (A-Levels, Foundation, etc.). Before applying, you need to pass the IELTS, PTE or TOEFL exam. Applicants will need a subject exam — ACT or SAT.
The academic performance of a student in an undergraduate program plays an important role in the selection of candidates. It is impossible to enter USyd for a master's program without confirming knowledge of the English language. You can do this by passing IELTS, PTE or TOEFL. There is an opportunity to study at USyd via online master's programs.
The campus of the educational institution is located in Sydney. This opens up all the delights of life in a big city for students: a rich infrastructure, a large selection of entertainment, convenient transport, as well as more opportunities for internships or part-time jobs. However, for some students, such an abundance of opportunities can be distracting. The university has a functioning library. In addition to educational materials in various scientific areas, it contains a collection of classical and contemporary literature. Student life at USyd is filled with intercultural activities, as not only local students study here, but also students from abroad. The exchange of knowledge and experience, networking and new acquaintances — all this is an integral part of studenthood.
