About UC
University of Canberra (UC) — public non-profit university. It is located in Canberra, Australia. As a member of Universities Australia, Association of Southeast Asian Institutions of Higher Learning (ASAIHL), Australian National Business Schools, UC is actively working on developing the academic environment.
According to QS International University Ranking, the institution is among the top-420 in the world. The university is in top-260 of the independent international ranking THE.

One year of studying at UC will cost local citizens a minimum of 2,723 USD. For foreigners, the tuition fee is different — from 10,744 USD per year. Thanks to scholarships and financial aid, university students have the opportunity to fully or partially cover the cost of education. Accommodation, transportation, study materials, meals and personal expenses are all things to consider before applying to university.

Bachelor degree at UC
11 years of school is not enough to get into UC. Since students study longer in Australia, you must first eliminate the academic difference — study for a year at a university in your home country, or take one of the preparatory programs (A-Levels, IB, Foundation, etc.). Before applying to the university, you need to pass an exam for knowledge of the English language. The university accepts the results of IELTS, PTE or TOEFL. The minimum TOEFL score is 46. The IELTS score is not lower than 5.5.
Master's degree at UC
In order to enroll at UC for a master's program, you will have to confirm knowledge of the English language. You can do this by passing the exam — IELTS, PTE or TOEFL. The minimum IELTS score for admission is 6.5. TOEFL — 79 or higher.
Doctorate degree at UC
If you decide to pursue a career in science and enroll in a doctoral program, you must pass the language exam — IELTS or PTE. For the IELTS exam, the result must be at least 6.5.
UC campus
The educational institution has a suburban campus. This means that students study close to a big city and can quickly get to it by public transport. At the same time, this location allows you to create a close-knit student community, since all events are held on campus. The school has a library where students can do their homework or just relax. Thanks to international exchange programs at UC, students can communicate with representatives of different countries and nationalities and thus expand their own horizons. And, the university contributes to this by regularly holding joint events for local and foreign students.

What to do after graduation
In Australia, you can stay for a period of 1.5 to 4 years after graduation. To do this, you must obtain a graduate visa — it allows you to work in the country without changing your visa to a work one. Look for more immigration options in our article.
