About SZE
István Széchenyi University SZE (SZE) — private non-profit university. It is located in Gyor, Hungary. The higher education institution is considered one of the youngest in the country, as it was founded in 1968. SZE is a part of European University Association (EUA).
The university was highly rated by the QS International Ranking of the best universities, and is in 1001 place in the world. Times Higher Education World University Ranking (THE), places the university in 1501 position in the world.
SZE is developing different scientific directions and invites students to join the research.
The academic calendar at SZE is divided into two semesters. For convenience, tuition fees are calculated per year. For local citizens, tuition fees at SZE start from 7 USD. International students pay a minimum of 5,000 USD per year. The university provides tuition assistance to some students through financial aid programs. SZE campus
The campus of SZE is located in Gyor. This is a fairly large city that opens up many opportunities for students: from cafes, restaurants and other entertainment to internships at large companies. But an urban campus can also be a disadvantage, because big city life distracts some students from their studies. University students have access to the library. It contains a collection of scientific papers, textbooks and fiction. Thanks to international exchange programs at SZE, students can communicate with representatives of different countries and nationalities and thus expand their own horizons. And, the university contributes to this by regularly holding joint events for local and foreign students.
