About ELTE
Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE) — public non-profit university. It is located in Budapest, Hungary. The higher education institution was founded in the 17th century and is one of the oldest institutions in the country. As a member of European University Association (EUA), Coimbra Group, Utrecht Network, UNICA, Danube Rectors' Conference, ELTE is actively working on developing the academic environment.
According to QS International University Ranking, the institution is among the top-710 in the world.

ELTE tuition fees
The academic calendar at ELTE is divided into two semesters, as in many other universities in Hungary. For convenience, tuition fees are calculated per year. Tuition fees at ELTE are different for locals and foreigners. Hungary citizens pay 920 USD per year, while international students pay a minimum of 2,191 USD. The university provides tuition assistance to some students through financial aid programs. They are available to both locals and foreigners. Bachelor degree at ELTE
Before applying to the university, you need to pass an exam for knowledge of the English language. The university accepts the results of IELTS or TOEFL. The minimum IELTS score is 5.5. The TOEFL score is not lower than 46.
Master's degree at ELTE
In order to enroll at ELTE for a master's program, you will have to confirm knowledge of the English language. You can do this by passing the exam — IELTS or TOEFL. The minimum TOEFL score for admission is 46. IELTS — 5 or higher.
Doctorate degree at ELTE
If you are applying for a doctoral program, you must pass the language exam — IELTS, TOEFL or CAE. For enrollment, you need to pass IELTS with 5.5 points. The minimum score for TOEFL is 66.
ELTE campus
The campus of ELTE is urban. This means that students study closely to the sights and the entire recreational infrastructure of the city. This type of campus gives students more options for internships and part-time jobs. Students have access to the extensive scientific library of the university. The collection of scientific papers helps them in conducting research. ELTE accepts students for international exchange programs. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in intercultural communication for both international and local students.

What to do after graduation
After graduation, you can stay in Hungary for up to 9 months by applying for a job seeker visa. This must be done before the student visa expires.
