Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BUTE) — public non-profit university. It is located in Budapest, Hungary. BUTE is one of the oldest higher education institutions in the country, as it was established in 1782. BUTE is an active member of European University Association (EUA), Conference of European Schools for Advanced Engineering Education and Research (CESAER).

The abundance of museums, theaters and cinemas creates opportunities for the cultural development of young people. In the city, there are also large companies that offer internships. Students have access to the extensive scientific library of the university. The collection of scientific papers helps them in conducting research.
