About BUTE
Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BUTE) — public non-profit university. It is located in Budapest, Hungary. BUTE is one of the oldest higher education institutions in the country, as it was established in 1782. BUTE is an active member of European University Association (EUA), Conference of European Schools for Advanced Engineering Education and Research (CESAER).

BUTE has an urban campus, which provides students with many options for study and recreation. The abundance of museums, theaters and cinemas creates opportunities for the cultural development of young people. In the city, there are also large companies that offer internships. Students have access to the extensive scientific library of the university. The collection of scientific papers helps them in conducting research. Thanks to international exchange programs at BUTE, students can communicate with representatives of different countries and nationalities and thus expand their own horizons. What to do after graduation
You can stay in Hungary for up to 9 months after graduation by applying for a job seeker visa. This must be done before the student visa expires.
