HiB tuition fees

At HiB, education is free for everyone, both in Norwegian and English. But for admission to such programs, you should know the language at least at a B2 level. Students should only pay a semester fee — 139 USD per year. Check the university website for up-to-date information on prices and available scholarships.

Also, be prepared for additional expenses: accommodation, transportation, study materials, meals and personal expenses.

Bachelor degree at HiB

It is not possible to enter an undergraduate program at HiB after the 11th grade. In Norway, school education lasts longer than 11 years, so applicants need to complete one of the preparatory programs (A-Levels, IB, Foundation, etc.), or study for a year at a university in their home country.

HiB campus

The campus of the educational institution is located in Bergen. Students have access to the extensive scientific library of the university. The collection of scientific papers helps them in conducting research. HiB regularly invites foreign students to participate in exchange programs. For locals, this is a unique opportunity to get in touch with the cultures of other countries, meet representatives of different nationalities and make friends around the world.
