Lillehammer University College (LUC) — public non-profit college. It is located in Lillehammer, Norway. It is one of the youngest higher education institutions in the country.
LUC is developing different scientific directions and invites students to join the research.

The academic calendar at LUC is divided into two semesters. For convenience, tuition fees are calculated per year. Absolutely all students can study for free at LUC. Education is free both in Norwegian and in English. The level of both languages must not be lower than B2. Students pay only a semester fee. The cost of education and the availability of scholarships can be checked on the official website.
Accommodation, transportation, study materials, meals and personal expenses are all things to consider before applying to university.
11 years of school is not enough to get into LUC. Since students study longer in Norway, you must first eliminate the academic difference — study for a year at a university in your home country, or take one of the preparatory programs (A-Levels, Foundation, etc.).

Do you love nature and spending time outdoors? Then you will definitely like studying at LUC, because the campus of the university is located far from the city in the countryside. Students work closely with each other both in and out of class. All activities are held within the campus. During the period of study, students can use the university library, where they can do homework and write scientific papers. Not only locals study at LUC, but also students from other countries. This is a unique opportunity to get in touch with the culture of other countries, meet representatives of different nationalities and make friends around the world.
Students are allowed to stay in the country for a year after graduation. To do this, you need to extend your student visa or apply for a job seeker visa. We talk about other options for immigration in our article.
