University of Silesia in Katowice (UŚ) — public non-profit university. It is located in Katowice, Poland. It is a young higher education institution, as it was opened in 1968. UŚ is an active member of European University Association (EUA), Interuniversity Centre for Research and Cooperation with Eastern and South-Eastern Europe (CIRCEOS).
