About UEK
University of Economics in Katowice (UEK) — public non-profit university. It is located in Katowice, Poland. UEK is a member of European University Association (EUA).
UEK does research in different fields of study and offers bachelor and master programs.
As in many other universities in the country, the academic calendar at UEK is divided into two semesters. But for convenience, tuition fees are calculated per year. UEK offers free programs in the Polish language (B2 level and higher). If you want to study in English — tuition fees start from 1,112 USD per year. UEK has an urban campus, which provides students with many options for study and recreation. The abundance of museums, theaters and cinemas creates opportunities for the cultural development of young people. In the city, there are also large companies that offer internships. There is a library on the grounds of the university. There are collected scientific works of graduates and teachers of the university, as well as fiction. UEK accepts students for international exchange programs. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in intercultural communication for both international and local students.
