The academic year at SUM is continuous. It means that students have no break between courses. However, for convenience, tuition fees are calculated per year. At SUM, you can study for free in programs taught in Polish. Before admission, you need to confirm language proficiency at a B2 level and above. All programs in English are paid. The cost of education and the availability of scholarships can be checked on the official website.
Also, be prepared for additional expenses: accommodation, transportation, study materials, meals and personal expenses.

SUM campus
The university campus is located in Katowice. The university has a library where students can do their homework, write scientific papers or just read interesting books. SUM regularly invites foreign students to participate in exchange programs. For locals, this is a unique opportunity to get in touch with the cultures of other countries, meet representatives of different nationalities and make friends around the world.
