The State Higher School of Film, Television and Theater L Schiller in Łódź (PWSFTviT) — public non-profit institution. It is located in Lodz, Poland. PWSFTviT is working closely with Centre Internationalde Liaison des Ecoles de Cinema et de Television (CILECT).

As in many other universities in the country, the academic calendar at PWSFTviT is divided into two semesters. But for convenience, tuition fees are calculated per year. Enrollment in a bachelor's program at PWSFTviT is based on the results of entrance exams.
The city campus of PWSFTviT provides students with countless opportunities for work and recreation — from sitting in a coffee shop with a laptop to internships at large companies. Lodz has a well developed entertainment infrastructure, but the rhythm of the big city can be distracting for some students. There is a library on the grounds of the university. There are collected scientific works of graduates and teachers of the university, as well as fiction. The exchange of intercultural experience occupies a special place in training at PWSFTviT.
