University of Southern Queensland (USQ) — public non-profit university. It is located in Toowoomba, Australia. The higher education institution was founded not so long ago — in 1967 — which is why it is considered one of the youngest in the country. USQ is working closely with Universities Australia, Association of Southeast Asian Institutions of Higher Learning (ASAIHL), OpenCourseWare Consortium (OCW).

You cannot enter university in Australia after the 11th grade, as school education here lasts longer. Applicants need to eliminate the academic difference. There are two ways to do this: either study for a year at a university in your home country, or complete one of the preparatory programs (A-Levels, IB, Foundation, etc.). Before applying to the university, you need to pass an exam for knowledge of the English language. The university accepts the results of IELTS, PTE or TOEFL. The minimum IELTS score is 6. The TOEFL score is not lower than 80. Applicants will need a subject exam — SAT. USQ also provides online undergraduate programs.

Master's degree at USQ
The academic performance of a student in an undergraduate program plays an important role in the selection of candidates. In order to enroll at USQ for a master's program, you will have to confirm knowledge of the English language. You can do this by passing the exam — IELTS, PTE or TOEFL. The minimum TOEFL score for admission is 550. IELTS — 6 or higher. USQ provides an opportunity to get a master's degree remotely.
