University of Vaasa (UVA) — public non-profit university. It is located in Vaasa, Finland. The higher education institution is considered one of the youngest in the country, as it was founded in 1968. As an active member of European University Association (EUA), UVA is participating in developing the academic environment.

The academic calendar at UVA is divided into two semesters, as in many other universities in Finland. For convenience, tuition fees are calculated per year.
