About PTE
University of Pécs (PTE) — public non-profit university. It is located in Pecs, Hungary. PTE is a member of European University Association (EUA), Compostela Group of Universities, University Network of European Capitals of Culture (UNeECC), Alliance of Universities for Democracy (AUDEM), Danube Rectors' Conference (DRC), Alps-Adriatic Working Community.

It is impossible to enter PTE for a master's program without confirming knowledge of the English language. You can do this by passing IELTS or TOEFL. The minimum TOEFL score for admission is 66. IELTS — 5.5 or higher.

Doctorate degree at PTE
If you decide to pursue a career in science and enroll in a doctoral program, you must pass the language exam — IELTS, TOEFL or CAE. For enrollment, you need to pass TOEFL with 66 points. The minimum score for IELTS is 5.5.

PTE campus
The city campus of PTE provides students with countless opportunities for work and recreation — from sitting in a coffee shop with a laptop to internships at large companies. Pecs has a well developed entertainment infrastructure, but the rhythm of the big city can be distracting for some students. The university students have access to the library. It is an integral part of learning. Students come here for educational literature or to do their homework. Not only locals study at PTE, but also students from other countries. This is a unique opportunity to get in touch with the culture of other countries, meet representatives of different nationalities and make friends around the world.
